Honest, focused, caring and romantic, describes me in a nutshell. Cosbyesque sense of humor. I'm a former U.S. Air Force Officer currently on assignment in Afghanistan for the United Nations. I love to travel, jog, read. I'm interested in many things. I enjoy the theatre, Andrea Bocelli, Sting and a good movie or play. I've taught school (college courses in airport management) and have traveled extensively. I raised my two children from babyhood as a single parent. I used to have this wierd cat but grew up with dogs. I love a challenge, enjoy spooning, think long, slow kisses are one of the most erotic things in the world. I'm an independent thinker and appreciate the same in others. While I can't draw a straight line, I'm fascinated by people with an artistic bent. When it comes to women, I'm a hand holding, flower giving kind of guy who'll call just to see how your day is going. For a long time now my focus has been on my kids. Both my son and daughter are off on their own now. I miss waking up next to someone I care about and bringing out the best in one another. I lived close enough to the ocean to take long walks on the beach but it's been a while since I've felt sand oozing between my toes. In the last year I've visited London, Tel Aviv, Rome and Beijing. Off to New Zealand soon and in November the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with my brother and son-in-law. Would enjoy someone interested in travelling. Not interested in a trophy girlfriend or someone half my age.
