Introduction

I'm looking for a man who is mature. Who is capable of communicating his deepest and innermost thoughts and desires. Who is not to proud to admit when he is wrong. Who puts our relationship first. Who is able to solve problems and once solved, let go of any hurt or resentment. Who is able to truly forgive and move on. Who is an intellectual, educated and financially secure. Who is ambitious and wants to have a comfortable life together filled with passion, romance and travel. Who will accept and treat my children as his own. Who will allow me my independence and not feel threatened by it because he is secure enough in himself to know that two people can be committed to each other but do not have to be joined at the hip.

A man who is spiritual, but not deeply religious because I believe religion divides people and that was not God's intent. A man who is a man. Who will defend and protect me and our home. Who has a great sense of humor and can laugh at himself. Who is not moody. Who is considered attractive by most people but realizes that he or no one is perfect. A man who likes to read and is always striving to be better than he is. Who is always trying to grow and learn because to remain stagnant is akin to dying.

A man who has travelled extensively. Who feels both comfortable in a tuxedo and at home in a pub. A man who believes in discussing all major decisions with his partner and doing what is in the best interests of the relationship. A man who does not put his job before his family. A man who will appreciate a woman who is smart, intelligent, driven, ambitious, an excellent mother and awesome lover. He appreciates a woman who will support him in all his endeavors and be loyal and faithful as she expects him to be.

A man who will comfort me when I am upset and not ignore my pain. A man who will be my best friend, my partner in crime and a person I can admire and look up to. Yes, it's a tall order but a girl has to have her dreams. :-)
