Introduction

I've decided to check out singles sites. I'll try anything once or twice or three times or....uh, my bad, I had a flashback…As I was saying before I so rudely interrupted myself, I'm coming back from a very serious injury that occurred several years ago. I did not let my injury stop me from working a very demanding job and taking care of my 3 story house. However, I didn't have time to go out to my usual social meeting places much over the last several years. My corporate job was very demanding and required that I spend long hours at the office, and in the field around town, and some out of town travel for meetings, and visiting the manufacturing sites that I managed. I did all this until I achieved a goal last December that I set for myself (more on that later). I did all this the last several years while using crutches or a cane(s) from a lingering partial disability from that injury. It slows me down somewhat, but doesn't keep me from achieving my high goals and aspirations on my job, career, daily chores, or in personal life. The little free time that I had was usually spent working on my house or working out in my home gym for fun and physical therapy. However, I decided to get more work to life balance. I think I have a purpose greater and more meaningful than my corporate job and I felt I had achieved all of my corporate life goals, so less corporate job and more purpose and personal life and fun! I then set a goal to retire from the corporate world early. I recently achieved that goal, (that I alluded to earlier), and retired early and comfortably from corporate life on 11/31/08 (actually did it 2 days before my 48th birthday last December).

I am now my own boss and am, by far, the best boss I ever had. I can afford to not do anything as I’m set, but I’ve never been one to sit around and do nothing. I’m extremely busy doing and pursuing work and hobbies that I love and putting more time into socializing and maintaining/developing my friendships. I now have more time to work on my house and work out in my gym. I also love to learn and explore. Thus, I’m working to maintain and organize, learn and/or grow in all phases (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, financially, socially, and charitably). I’m considering starting my own business, consulting, motivational speaking, and writing.

In the last several years, I’ve had some very steep obstacles to clear. This is a part of life. This just makes it feel that much more satisfying to achieve the goals despite the height of the obstacles! The real key is to have fun every step of the way! My mission is to find a way to have fun every day while delivering that greater purpose!

I’m a very positive person. I’m friendly. I like to have fun and joke a lot. People say that I have a great sense of humor. Sometimes I like to be outgoing and the center of attention. Sometimes I like to be around a lot of people. Sometimes I like to be quiet and alone and/or with the company of a good woman exploring each other. I have very strong opinions, but I’m open-minded and very liberal. I believe in the old saying “live and let live.” I love Spring and especially Summer seasons. I’m happiest when its warm, the sky is clear and the sun is shining bright. I don’t like cold, snow, ice and Winter weather.

I like a woman who is open-minded and liberal. She needs to be able to be loose, silly and likes to have fun at times. She also needs to be secure enough to give me space and let me be quiet and alone sometimes. I like someone who is comfortable to be around and who does not feel it is necessary to constantly force conversation. Sometimes we can talk and that's okay. Sometimes we can be quiet and that's okay. I don’t like a woman who is jealous and distrustful. I like a woman who is bright and wants to learn, because I’m a good teacher.
