Introduction

What follows are some qualities I seek in my best friend/lover/husband:Honest, Respectful, Dependable, Supportive/Understanding, Emotionally generous, Romantic, Financially Stable/Responsible and overall an ALL AROUND GOOD GUY(The kind of man you would pick for your sister or mother). He is a positive role model, laid back and easy going. I love to laugh and have fun, but he will know when to be serious.The ability to make me laugh and be silly at times is a huge plus!!! I would love for my man to have skills in the kitchen and enjoy it!!!(Is that hoping for too much?) However, it's not a deal breaker although, you should know, cooking is not my forte! My kids would second that.He should be able to balance work, recreation, and family. Mutual respect and communication are a must. He should enjoy spending time with family and never take that time for granted. Must be willing to take time to be friends first and treat my children as his own(as I would do for him). So, having a big heart and ability to be a big kid at times is a must. I am not looking for someone to support my children and I. However, we can support each other in every way, you know "have each others back". I am not a materialistic woman, but I can definitely appreciate thoughtful gifts, gestures and lots of affection! I believe it is the small/everyday things that mean the most. I am down to earth, sincere, intelligent and independent(it's still nice to be taken care of sometime). I am sentimental, thoughtful, and emotional at times(my daughter laughs at me when I cry during movies). I am most comfortable in a casual atmosphere. I can be somewhat shy/reserved at first until you really get to know me. I don't believe in a woman being submissive ( not forced)or thought of as anything less than equal to her husband or any man.
