By some gift of chance, our profiles were matched.
Just wanted to drop a note and say thanks. Almost three years ago I signed up on Interracial Singles and met my fiance'. He set his filter to scan only within a 300 mile radius of his home in Maryland. I live in California, and yet by some gift of chance, our profiles were matched.
We have been together since. We fly out to see each other as often as we can, spending time together almost every day via Skype, text, and phone. Our wedding date is set for May of 2012.
Despite all of my cynicism about ever finding anyone compatible, Interracial Singles helped me find my soul mate. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

I have been a member since 2005, as a lifetime member. During that time I have met some nice people, some have remained friends. Then out of the blue I received a message that would forever change my life. Something about his first statement to me touched my heart. I responded, we emailed back and forth and found we had much in common. We had both been praying for a mate with the attributes that we found in each other. We both knew this was different. Soon I gave him my number. We text'd back and forth. He didn't ask me if I wanted to met...he said when do want want to meet. I said ASAP and he made flight arrangements for that weekend. We laughed later when we realized we hadn't even talked on the phone yet. We simply knew this was it. From there, even though I was in Michigan, he in Florida, we were together every weekend possible for the next couple of months. We are now engaged to be married in a few weeks. We are so happy and in love, it is amazing to both of us. We know it is our gift from God that we found each other. You never know when you may meet the one meant for you.

Hello - This success story is long overdue - Today I thought I'd let you know that over 4 years ago (May 2006) EBDAWSON (Wesley) and I met on this site. The relationship was a struggle as we lived over 3 hours away from each other so we were only weekend daters. There was a 2 month break (I was getting tired of the long distance and wanted something more) but we reunited and then decided to live together so I relocated. Wes proposed this past April. On October 15, 2010 we are getting married!!

I met my boyfriend 2 years ago on this site when we were both planning a move to Las Vegas, NV. We started off being very good friends and our relationship just grew from there. Two years later we are living together and have an amazing brand new baby boy! I feel like I got so lucky and fate really took control of our lives because neither one of us would have ever thought to go online to meet people, but randomly we both did about the same time and the rest is history! You never know what life has in store for you!

We started to talk early in 2009...
First a few emails on the site before we moved on to yahoo...And then it just took off. We hit it off right away and I just couldn't wait to get home from work to see if there was something from him and always there was.
We spent so many hours on the computer and the webcam. We just couldn't get enough. Many times we even took breaks just to be back online again one hour later. What amazed me so much was his honesty.
After a few months we wanted to meet up...the problem was that I live in Europe! The urge I had to visit and see him in person got so strong so I booked the ticket and before I even knew it I was on my way!
This was my first time in the USA! The visit was more than great...I was planning for the next visit and that was before I even left. Three months later I visited again...and it was better than the first!!
We did have a few problems and at one point tried to go separate ways. Today we are sure that this is what we want...a lot of hurdles are in our way, but together hand in hand we will get through this and when we are finally be together for good, we will look back and say...it was well worth all the hurdles!! A long distance relationship is hard...very hard, but it can work and we are stronger than ever.

We met and graduated to phone conversation within a week, and two weeks later went on our first date. The first date was fine, but no sparks were flying. The conversation and connection were instant.
We met on Monday, due to my work schedule. I was out of town all week, so we spent about 50 hours on the phone between texting and late night phone conversations until 4 in the morning - lack of sleep, but worth it. When I got back in town, we had a midnight date at the only thing open (Applebee's) and closed it down. The conversation and connection were instant. He brought me 2 dozen pink carnations with a card that said "Happy First Date", thinking of you Amber. We hugged, and both went home with a smile on our face. We decided last night to be exclusive! He is SUPER wonderful!
