A whirlwind
I met Eluvathug on your website and it's kind of been a whirlwind. We've talking on the phone for a couple of months and then we agreed to meet. We hit off right away and have been dating every since. We've moving to North Carolina together next month. So we will see what happens.

God answered my prayer
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Interracial singles. I was very skeptical about meeting anyone online, but decided to give it a try, since 2 of my brothers met their spouses online. The very first day that I posted my profile on Interracial Singles, I got a response from a very special man. (My profile was on a couple other sites, but I was not interested in any of the responses I got, and was about to give up). I decided to communicate with this wonderful sweetheart of a man that he is (smile) and we began talking on the phone for hours every day! We have a lot in common and a wonderful chemistry. We live about 5 hours away from each other and will be meeting in person very soon. We are both excited and very happy and we never run out of things to talk about. We are hoping to start a relationship that is lead by God, since we are both of the same faith and denomination. Just as I was about to give up, I prayed and I know God heard and answered my prayer! I met a really terrific christian man here. On this site we had some hestitation on the distance but God moves mountains. At this time it's a phone thing, looking forward to meeting soon as weather clears. He is the most compassonate man I ever met and ever have been blessed with. He has said the same with me...great start, rocky in the middle, now praying for smoooooth sailing....and "rollin' with it" Thank You....

Time and patience
Thanks to Interracial Singles I have met my soul mate. I met my match, Chris, on this site and we have been dating for two months now and moving in together soon. We are the same age, have the same goals and have so much in common. I never thought I would meet my match on a computer! Time and patience do pay off.
I have met some really great people and made so many friends here and I want to say thank you to everyone I have spoken to, you know who you are, good luck with your journey and I really do wish for you to find peace, love and happiness just like I have. She took a chance
I would like to thank you for the wonderful person you allowed me to meet on this site it has been a over a year since I met my wife and we have a beautiful daughter now she is about 2 months old...
Mind you it took a lot of the both of us to get our relationship off the gound but it worked.
To give you an idea my wife is from Michigan,USA and I am from the island of Trinidad in the West Indies..
I my add was simple and straight to the point "Looking for a white wife willing to migrate to the caribbean.."
A couple of people were interested and a majority were skeptical..But this lady of mine wasn't, she took a chance..
We spoke for about 3 weeks on the internet then we spoke on the phone....
Her first question why a white wife? and the second was why do they need to come to the caribbean to live and why not me come to the united states to live instead?
Can't remeber my answers but I remeber telling her Trinidad and Tobago makes it easier for foriegn spouses its citizens to stay and be happy than the USA does.
I gave her all the information she wanted on Trinidad and Tobago, My offer was simple come and see for yourself all expenses paid, if you like what you see we can move on from there. I paid for her flight and all the documentation she would need. She came for 3 days in December 2005....
My wife fell in love with everything she saw the country, the people, the weather and ME (BIG SMILE)..
She left on January 2nd 2006 and returned on the 31st of that month to live in Trinidad..
December 20th 2006 our daughter was born...
note:Trinidad and Tobago immigation authorities smile every time we visit their offices there is no doubt in our intentions....

Blow away.
Thank you to Interracial Singles and to the nice women I've talked with. I've only been a member for about two weeks. I don't have a web cam or digital camera, so it was a bit difficult trying to convince some of the ladies to talk with me. A few days of searching led to great e-mails and finally telephone talks. It took about a week for one very special lady to feel comfortable enough to meet for a first date. I could tell by the look on her face she felt as taken with me, as I was with her. I was fortunate enough to see a photo of her posted on her site. We were both very honest and up front during our conversations about how we looked and our likes and dislikes. Five minutes after I was with her in person I felt like I had known her for years. Ladies, I'm not a player so I plan to cool my jets on the Internet and see how things are going between us. My attention is definitely focused on her. I feel, oops, I know she's worth it. I hope she feels the same about me.
She agreed to meet me for an early dinner at a restaurant in her city of residence. I meet her in the parking lot around 4:00pm on Saturday. I was truly blown away when she walked toward me. She looked beautiful, her smile, hair, clothes, every thing. During dinner I felt like I had known her for years. She felt so comfortable she accompanied me shopping at a mall. I'm normally pretty nervous on a first date, but she made me feel at ease while walking around together. I asked her if she would like to attend a friends birthday party later in the evening and she said yes! We even stopped at my place on the way. Don't even think it, she's a lady. I showed her the house and some of my projects. I really enjoyed showing her more about my life. She told me she was a bit nervous about meeting my friends, talking about the interracial thing. Every one loved meeting her and she said she had a great time. After the party I drove her back to her car. I pulled off the side of the street in front of the pay parking lot. Even though it was hours later the same guy was still working. He let me leave the lot for free since he had learned we were on our first date. When I got back with her he knocked half off her parking since she said she had a wonderful time. Thanks parking lot guy!
On Sunday I picked her up at her house for church at 10:00am. It was so nice being in church with a new inspiration at my side. After, we had lunch at a Coney Island near by with my room mate and then we all went shopping together. She came back to the house where we enjoyed hours of pleasant getting to know you talk. I took her home around 5:00pm and the rest is history.
Thanks again to those I've had communication with. I feel I have talked with many special women on this site and I wish you all the best of luck with your search.

My knees got weak!
Well when I put my profile on this site I didn't think I would meet anyone special but on Jan. 19, a very cute guy had sent me a smile I really didn't want to pay it no mind but something told me to send him one back so I did. That was probably the best decision I could have made. At first we chatted for a while on the computer a then we wanted to hear each others voice. I admit my heart was pounding and he told me his was too, but when I heard his sexy voice my knees got weak! We talked for a minute and on from there we've been talking ever since. We have a great relationship! He's the sweetest guy I have ever met I hope this never ends we get closer everyday I know he's the one!

My true love and my soul mate
First, I want to start by saying that I met my fiance on IS. I was skeptical at first because I thought this would be like every other dating site on the web. But I was shocked and amazed when I became a member. This was the first site I actaully paid for and it was worth every penny.
I was also in disbelief when the man of my dreams sent me a smile and his profile. I thought it was too good to be true and almost missed my opportunity. But I thought I would give it a chance and see where things went, it couldn't hurt. We started by talking on Yahoo but realized that wasn't enough for us. So we exchanged numbers and that was the start of something wonderful I never expected to find.
As soon as I heard his voice on the other end of the line I knew this man was the one for me. We talked about everything and and the conversations were deep and endless. We began talking more often and that went to every other day. At that time he was bowling 4 nights a week for a league and I knew from the beginning that that was something he was passionate about and that was a big part of his life.
One night he called me on his way to the bowling alley just to say hi and we ended up talking for hours. He missed his game because he didn't want to let me go. I knew that moment that I couldn't let this one get away; that he was genuine and cared about me the way he said he did.
That trend continued and again we started talking more frequently. There were countless nights when we would stay up all night like high school kids talking on the phone. Even the silence pauses are a way of communication for us. There have also been nights when we both fall asleep on the phone together.
When we finally decided to meet in person the plans were for me to go to St. Louis to see him. My best friend and I were going to drive there; however, fate had something else planned. We had car problems and weren't able to make the trip. So the night we were suppose to leave, Greg calls me and says "I need you to pick me up at the airport at 8pm tomorrow night. I bought a ticket and I am flying to see you". I was completely shocked. This man had never been on an airplane in his life but he was willing to fly 650 miles for me.
I must admit it was an interesting experience. The emotional rollercoaster was enough to make anyone turn and run the opposite direction. Excitement because I finally got to see this man I had been talking to for months face to face. But nervousness because of the doubts running through my mind.
All fears were erased when he arrived at the airport. I knew as soon as our eyes met this was the man I would spend the rest of my life with. We had an amazing weekend together getting to know each other even more. But all good things must come to an end and he had to get back on the plane and fly back to St. Louis. That was a hard thing for me watching him walk through the airport and away from me.
The next week was particularly hard on both of us because now we knew what we were missing when we were apart. Again I made plans to go to St Louis the next weekend to see him and that fell through once again. But this time no 'meet me at the airport'. It was going to be a lonely week-end on the phone again. Friday night I got off work and was ready for one of our all-nighters on the phone. But he was spending the evening with his friends. So I went to sleep.
The next morning I was in for a surprise. At 6am my phone rang and it was him. I imediately thought something was wrong so he starts talking to me like nothing so I knew he was ok. Then he told me that it had snowed in St Louis and wanted me to look outside and see if it had snowed here. So I get out of bed and go to my front door and he was standing on my porch. He had driven all through the night to get to me. I was in amazement. Apparently there was more to this relationship than I initally thought.
This man makes me whole and he showed me that I can be loved for who I am not what I have, not what I look like, and that he would do anything in the world for me.
And he knows that I would do the same for him.
We are now in the process of planning our wedding and the date is set for June 7th, 2008. I want to end this story by thanking IS for helping me find my true love and my soul mate. Without this site, I think it would have been completely impossible.
